Dead & Thirsty

19. October 2015 by swizzzlestick

This month´s frightening theme of Mixology Monday is Spooky Sips proposed by our friend Rated R Cocktails.

1-20151018_132958My sweetheart Eva motivated me not just to post a picture of a drink with a horrifying name, but also to create the perfect Halloween atmosphere!

So we managed to bury myself in the backyard and she took these great cruel shots.

mxmo-halloweenOur drink is the Dead & Thirsty, a wonderful combination of spicy ginger with a very peaty smoky Scotch. You should have one this Halloween, or at least before you die!

2 ounces Smoky Peaty Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 4 ounces Thomas Henry Spicy Ginger, garnish: 2 Fresh Eyeballs (optional Jelly Eyeballs), 1 Lemon Wedge

Build ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice and eyeballs. Garnish with the lemon wedge.

  1. […] Swizzzlestick wins the award for best photo. My God just check that out. The Dead & Thirsty is full of tasty peated scotch and ginger. Then garnished with a very spooky gummy eyeball. Make sure to give this one a look while it looks back at you. […]
