Stanislav Vadrna from Bratislava introduced the Masataka Swizzle, named after Whisky founder Masataka Taketsuru, at a Whisky event in Paris in September 2009 (source: Jim Meehan´s PDT Cocktail Book).
1.5 oz. Japanese Malt Whisky, 0.5 oz. Amaretto, 0.5 oz. Lemon Juice, 1 bsp Simple Syrup, garnish: 3 dashes Peychaud´s Bitters and a Mint Sprig
Add ingredients in a rocks glass, then fill with pebble ice. Swizzle, then top with more pebble ice. Garnish with 3 dashes Peychaud´s Bitters and the mint sprig.
Start swizzling and include this ice-cold wonderful sweet sour whisky drink in your cocktail repertoire!
