Tonight I have picked up the Savoy Cocktail Book and got caught by the Strike´s Off Cocktail. This drink was “Created by Harry Craddock on May 12, 1926, to mark the end of the General Strike“, The Savoy Cocktail Book says.

1 oz. Lemon Juice, 1 oz. Swedish Punsch, 2 oz. Gin, 2 dashes Celery Bitters (optional, my choice), garnish: Lemon Peel (optional)

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon peel.

The Strike´s Off Cocktail is an elegant refreshing gin drink. For me it is perfect with two good dashes of Celery Bitters.
