The Sky Pilot was invented by J. P. Hart, according to CocktailDB. CocktailDB is a great source for old-fashioned or forgotten cocktails. It is the brainchild of Martin Doudoroff and Ted (Dr. Cocktail) Haigh.

Ingredients

1-1/2 oz gin, 1/4 oz dry sherry, 1/4 oz orange juice, 1 oz creme de noyaux

Preparation

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

This wonderful sweet and strong gin drink is dominated by the flavor of Crème de Noyeaux, a neaerly forgotten almond-flavored crème liqueur made from apricot kernels.
