Naked and Famous

1. June 2015 by swizzzlestick

The Naked and Famous by Joaquín Simó “… is the bastard child born out of an illicit Oaxacan love affair between the classic Last Word and the Paper Plane …”, according to Death & Co´s book Modern Classic Cocktails.

3/4 ounce Mezcal (an aggressively smoky and funky one), 3/4 ounce Yellow Chartreuse, 3/4 ounce Aperol, 3/4 ounce Lime Juice

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

A very well balanced and refreshing smoky and herbal mezcal drink with grapefruit notes. The Chartreuse adds the necessary sweetness.  A “Must Try” for mezcal fans.
