I should have a look more often in The Art of the Bar by Jeff Hollinger & Rob Schwartz. Their Trilby No. 2 is a good drink (the original version is from Harry Craddock, 1930).

1-3/4 ounces Scotch, 1/2 ounce Italian Sweet Vermouth, 1/2 ounce Parfait Amour, 2 dashes Orange Bitters, 2 dashes Absinthe (for rinsing), garnish: Orange Twist

Stir ingredients, except the absinthe, with ice. Rinse a chilled cocktail glass with absinthe and strain the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with the orange twist.
