Alex Day created the Le Bateleur in the year 2008 (source Death & Co´s Modern Classic Cocktails).


2 ounces Gin, 3/4 ounce Punt E Mes, 1/2 ounce Strega, 1/4 ounce Cynar, 1 dash Angostura Bitters, garnish: 1 Orange Twist


Stir ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the orange twist.

 A very nice herbal medium sweet gin drink with slightly bitter components of the Cynar and Punt E Mes.
