I found the recipe of the Pink Almond, this wonderful forgotten drink in the CocktailDB. The CocktailDB is the brainchild of Martin Doudoroff and Ted (Dr. Cocktail) Haigh. An excellent source of so many great cocktails!
1/2 oz Creme de Noyeaux, 1/2 oz. Orgeat syrup, 1 oz. Blended Whiskey, 1/2 oz. Kirsch, 1/2 oz. lemon juice, 1 dash Aromatic Bitters (optional, my choice), garnish: a lemon twist
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
A strong sweet and nutty whiskey drink. If you can get hold of a bottle of Crème de Noyeaux you should try this one!
