A few weeks ago I visited the Karl May Bar in the Kempinski Hotel in Dresden/ Germany. If you are near Dresden, do not miss this opportunity to have a world class drink there. You won´t regret it! Here are a few impressions from my visit.
The drink of today is the Chaplin, a wonderful Bourbon digestif with a nice orange flavor (found in The Essential Bartender´s Guide by Robert Hess).
3/4 oz. Bourbon, 3/4 oz. Dry Sherry, 3/4 oz. Ramazotti, 1/8 oz. Cointreau, 2 dashes Orange Bitters, garnish: Lemon Twist
Stir ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.
