Mike Romanoff claimed he was a prince of the Russian royal family. He wasn’t, at all. But he did run Hollywood’s most popular restaurant in the Bogart and Bacall era (and both were regulars!).

His house cocktail was, although without Bitters, fantastic!

50ml Vodka, 1 tsp Cointreau, 1 tsp Apricot Liqueur, 3 tsp Lime Juice, 1 dash Angostura Bitters, garnish: Orange Twist

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the orange twist.
