“A stick of smoldering cinnamon imbues this almost tropical cocktail with a wisp of spicy smoke.” (by Todd Maul, Clio Boston, found in imbibemagazine.com). The Smoking Cinnamon is fantastic! Finally I found a proper use for my Batavia Arrack. I am so curious what Eva will say about this drink.
1 stick Cinnamon, 1oz. Aged Rum, 1 oz. Pineapple Juice, 1/4 oz. Batavia Arrack, 1/4 oz. Punt e Mes, 1/4 oz. Rich Simple Syrup
Light the cinnamon stick until it is smoldering on one end. Place it on a plate and cover it with a cocktail glass.
Shake the remaining ingredients with ice. Upend the cocktail glass and strain the drink into the glass.
