The Rangoon Gimlet is a wonderful refreshing and energizing drink for starting this year. Tony Ramos served it 1963 in the China Trader restaurant in Burbank, California. Lee Marvin and Bob Hope were regulars there (source Beachbum Berry Remixed by Jeff Berry)!
1 oz. Lime Juice, 2 oz. Sugar Syrup, 3 oz. Gin, 2 dashes Angostura Bitters, 16 oz. (2 cups) Crushed Ice, garnish: Green Cocktail Cherry
Put ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed for 20 seconds.
Poor unstrained into two cocktail glasses and garnish with a green cocktail cherry.
