Thanksgiving is not a holiday in Germany, so we have had our small turkey already today! I prepared it on the kettle grill …

No good meal without a good drink! The Turkey Shoot, found in Brad Thomas Parsons´book Bitters, is one of the best drink you can have after a delicious turkey meal 🙂

Ingredients

1 and 1/2 oz. 101-proof Wild Turkey Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey (sub for Rye), 1/2 oz. Punt e Mes, 1/4 oz. Allspice Dram, 3/4 oz. Cider Reduction, 1/2 oz. Cinnamon Syrup, 1/4 oz. Lemon juice, 1 dash Jerry Thomas Own Decanter Bitters (sub for Fee Brothers Barrel-Aged Bitters), 1 dash Creole Bitters (sub for Cranberry Bitters), garnish: 1 Lemon Zest

Preparation

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with the lemon zest.
