While searching what to do with my Austrian Pear Liqueur I found the Statesman cocktail, created by Erick Castro (2008), in Jim Meehan´s PDT Cocktail Book. The gin, the pear, the Chartreuse and the lemon oils work together so nicely in this martini-like drink. Give it a try, you won´t regret it!

6cl Gin, 1.5cl Pear Liqueur, 1 BS Green Chartreuse, 1 dash Orange Bitters, garnish: Lemon Twist

Stir ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail coupe. Garnish with the lemon twist.
