Green Melon Margarita

26. October 2014 by swizzzlestick

Do you have fruit liqueurs left in your home bar and you don´t know what do do with it?

Why not make a fruity modern “margarita style” drink! I know that such a drink has not a lot to do with an original Margarita but it tastes great, and your friends will enjoy it.

Just replace the Green Melon liqueur in the following recipe by ANY liqueur you have! And here is the Green Melon Margarita!

6cl Tequila, 4cl Green Melon Liqueur (Midori preferred), 3cl Lime Juice, garnish: Lime Wheel and Salt

Shake tequila, melon liqueur and lime juice in a shaker with ice and strain into a salt rimmed cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

I really like your ratio: 3:2:1 1/2. I hadn’t thought about it that way.
