I wanted to create a coconut rum based daiquiri-type drink. It could be fancyful, but with visible roots to a classic daiquiri. After trying around a little bit (especially about balancing the sweetness) I want to contribute my recipe of the Cocoon.
4cl Coconut Rum (Koko Kanu preferred), 2cl Golden Rum, 1.5cl Maraschino Liqueur, 1cl Falernum (Bitter Truth Golden Falernum Liqueur preferred), 3cl Lime Juice (Juice of 1 Lime), garnish: Brandied Cherry
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into an ice-cold cocktail glass. Garnish with a brandied cherry.
