The pioneering bartender James Hill created the Hey Nineteen at his bar The Great Gatsby in Sheffield. A great modern tequila mix with an old-fashioned touch!
5cl Tequila, 2 TS Heering Cherry Brandy, 1 TS Punt e Mes, 1 dash Pechaud´s Bitters, 1 TS Agave Syrup, garnish: 2 Cherries (the original recipe asks for cherries macerated in Tequila and Cherry brandy, my ones are home-made Daniel Shoemaker´s Brandied Cherries by Jeffrey Morgenthaler).
Sitr ingredients with ice in a mixing glass and strain into a rocks glass over a large piece of ice. Garnish with the cherries.
