The Bourbon Crusta by Gary & Mardee Regan, The Book of Bourbon, is a wonderful variation of the Brandy Crusta.
2 oz. Bourbon, 1/2 oz. Triple Sec, 1/2 oz. Maraschino Liqueur, 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice, 2 dashes orange Bitters, 2 dashes Jerry Thomas Own Decanter Bitters (my own addition because I love Bitters), garnish: Orange Peel
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a sugar-rimmed cocktail glass. Garnish with the orange peel.
