Vowel Cocktail

15. May 2014 by swizzzlestick

The Vowel is a very uncommon cocktail coming from Barflies and Cocktails (1927). A drink with both caraway-flavored liqueur Kümmel and blended Scotch. Very tasty!

1 oz. Scotch, 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth, 1/2 oz. OJ, 1/2 oz. Kümmel (Caraway Liqueur), 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

  1. Time to pull out the scotch, very few cocktail use it. I’ll have to give this one a try. Thanks.
