The Hop Toad Cocktail first appeared in the Old Waldorf Astoria Barbook in the early 30´s of the last century. Several variations exist, the following recipe is Jamie Boudreau´s favorite one. Now it is also my favorite one!
1 and 1/2 oz. Aged Rum, 1/2 oz. Apricot Liqueur, 1/2 oz. Lime Juice, 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters, garnish: Lime Wedge
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
