The Guion Cocktail was most probably created at the Waldorf Astoria bar. This is the recipe as presented by Robert Hess. Such a wonderful drink!

1 and 1/2 oz. Gin, 1 and 1/2 oz. Sweet Vermouth, 1 dash Orange Bitters, 1 BS Benedictine

Stir first three ingredients with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Float the Benedictine on top.
