The first publication of this wonderful drink was in the Café Royal Bar Book of 1937, according to Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails by Ted Haigh.
1 and 1/2 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. Lillet Blanc, 1/2 oz. Light Crème de Cacao, 2/3 oz. Lemon Juice, garnish: Lemon Twist
Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.
