In Johannesburg/ South Africa I was happy to find yesterday the absolutely brand new cream-free Amarula Gold. Its release coincides with the brand´s 25th anniversary and, like its cream counterpart, is made using marula fruit indigenous to sub-Saharan Africa, double-distilled and aged in oak for 24 months. It tastes much fruitier and more intense than his cream brother, so I definitively prefer this one! I recommend to drink it neat, on the rocks or with a good ginger ale or beer. And here is my Amarula & Ginger Beer!
2 oz. Amarula Gold and 4 oz. Ginger Beer, garnish: 2 Lime Slices
Build the ingredients in a long drink glass filled with ice. Garnish with the lime slices and enjoy!
