Banana Caipirinha

18. January 2014 by swizzzlestick

The Banana Caipirinha is very easy to make with only a few ingredients, but incredibly delicious!

1 banana (I took 2 small ones), juice of 1 lime, about 3 BS brown sugar, 4 to 5 ice cubes, Cachaça

Put banana, sugar, lime juice, a splash of cachaça in a large glass and muddle. Add 4 to 5 ice cubes. Fill the glass up with cachaça and stir. Enjoy!

  1. I’m going to try that, I have all the ingredients, but lime juice and banana don’t make a caipirinha, correctly it would be a ‘batida’. A caipirinha is only made with lemons. People who call the green South American lemon, a lime, are wrong; unfortunateçy this is almost universal outside of Brazil. I battle in vein over this.
