Golden Slipper

Which drink could I offer on New Year´s Eve to my family and friends? A top candidate is the Golden Slipper which people who could afford it enjoyed in the 19th century. And indeed, it is still an eyecatcher and an absolutely sensational drinking experience as well: enjoying 22 karat of gold,  French Chartreuse (the recipe is only known by a very few Carthusian monks) and Danzig Goldwasser (a strong root and herbal liqueur which has been produced since at least 1598 in Gdańsk)! And then, at the end, when you carefully squash the delicate egg yolk in your mouth and it mixes with these sweet delicious liqueurs, simply to die for!!

Ingredients

6cl Yellow Chartreuse, cold

1 egg yolk, cold

6cl Danziger Goldwasser, cold

Preparation

Layer the ingredients carefully in a glass.
