Searching for new drinks I stumbled over the Chupa Cabra on a menue in Miami. Imagine, the rough bold flavor of Mezcal paired with the bitterness of Campari! Difficult to imagine, so I had to try this one!! The ingredients are the true ones except the agave nectar which I substituted by agave syrup; however, I balanced the sweetness of the ingredients so that it tastes simply wonderful! And here is my version of it.
2 oz. Mezcal, 1 oz. Campari, 1 oz. Lime Juice, 2 oz. Grapefruit Juice, 2/3 oz. Agave Syrup, 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Shake the ingredients with ice and strain into a fancy glass filled with ice. Enjoy!
