When I heard about Curry-flavored cocktails I knew I had to try one! The Delhi Daisy with Curry Simple Syrup is unbelievably fantastic. An ideal digestif after your next home-cooked Indian meal! The drink was created by Misty Kalkofen of Boston´s Drink; however, the following quantities were estimated by myself as I did not find them elsewhere.
6cl Tequila Silver
3cl Lemon Juice
2cl Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
1cl Curry Simple Syrup
2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
Curry Simple Syrup:
Prepare it like any Simple Syrup with same quantity of sugar and water, and adding the desired amount of curry. After bringing it to a boil filtrate through a clean kitchen towel or similar to get the fines out. Let it cool down.
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail coupe. Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
