At 1 am in the morning, after a long night with no alcohol because of driving, I enjoy an early twentieth-century recipe, a wonderful Fourth Regiment Cocktail.

1 ounce rye

1 ounce sweet vermouth

1 dash celery bitters

1 dash orange bitters

1 dash Angostura bitters

Garnish: lemon twist

Sitr all ingredients in a mixing glas filled with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.

Fourth Regiment Cocktail

A fantastic drink!
